Karen en Thomas trouwden op een prachtige zomerdag in de Vierkantshoeve Pladutse. Familie en vrienden genoten zichtbaar van het samenzijn, terwijl de glazen gevuld werden, verhalen werden uitgewisseld en de uren ongemerkt voorbijgleden.


Toen Meneerenmadam het muzikale stuur overnamen, was het helemaal prijs. De dansvloer liep vol, de sfeer ging een versnelling hoger en de avond eindigde zoals een goed trouwfeest hoort te eindigen: met pijnlijke voeten en een geheugenkaart vol foto's.
